Would it be possible to do one there at Easter. I'll have a look at what's on there. Was just wondering if anyone was planning anything else John.

| No nothing planned, leaving it open to members for next year, had to cancel too many this year. Think the first planned meet is Bakewell Can't find the list Even the 2020 folder has gone If anyone would like to arrange a rally for 2020 just let me know and I'll add it to the list _________________ Keeping Leapys boat sailing [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

I'd prefer Whittingham for the entertainment nights Ken. I'm going to keep a good eye on their website from now on. Then see if any interest on here. Think others may already have commitments in mind for Easter . But if anyone is doing anything on here can you please let us know. Regards Kate x

| Hello Ken , Hello Kate, what about Shrewsbury if the room is free. I'm sure we could get 20 vans.

I could check with Jan if anything on that weekend? We may get some of the boating section interested in Shrewsbury as there are a couple of places to launch boats on site.

| Rang Jan at Shrewsbury the whole complex is booked out for a dog show that weekend but There is a section that we could camp on and have the use of a unheated room in the Berrick Hall (where the Carboot was) we would have to hire gas heaters for room. She is unsure at the moment about access for boats being launched from the beach section of river Severn due to the dog show being on. She said she would let me know. Personally I don't think it's a goer at showground for Easter meet. It will be very busy with this dog show being on and cost of heating a room may be to much for our budget. She did say camping would be between £15/17 per night one thing going for it though we wouldn't need to get 20+ vans to get room. . Anyone else got any suggestions Kate. | |
