Was thinking we should have more meets per year.
What happened to meets at Rutland water and Pugneys?
Unfortunately I am furthest north by some 60/70miles would other members travel this far?
There is a field just outside Leyburn I could enquire about that CCC use. . Thirsk Auction Mart also have CCC meets but could be a but too close to A19 for some because of road noise. Seem to think there was meets on Thirsk racecourse which isn't very far to walk into Thirsk.
Let me know if you would like me to make enquiries.

Carsington Waters Derbyshire? Walk around lake
Rowsley Station peak rail. Walk to pub. Bus stop outside and a cycle track if I Romberg rightly
Victoria Park Southport. Lovely place but think we would have to guarantee attendance of so many places

Another suggestion for a meet South Yorkshie Aircraft Museum Doncaster. From the Museum it's a pleasant walk at the side of the lake to Lakeland shopping outlet. Also free access to the Museum and in normal times the use of a room for social events.

Colin and I (yes he does go with me sometimes) stayed on a CCC September weekend meet a couple of years ago. Really enjoyed it.
